Balochistan: In a major counterterrorism breakthrough, Pakistan’s security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation against the militant group Fitna Al-Hindustan in the Pehrud area of Balochistan.
According to reliable sources, the operation was launched during the night between July 19 and 20, following confirmed intelligence on the movement of terrorists affiliated with Fitna Al-Hindustan in the region.
During the operation, four militants belonging to the group were neutralized. Security personnel also recovered weapons and a flag associated with Fitna Al-Hindustan from the scene. The operation marks a critical success in the ongoing fight against terrorism in Pakistan’s western provinces.
Clearance Operation Continues to Eliminate Threats
Sources further revealed that a clearance operation is still underway to ensure complete security and eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
In recent months, Fitna Al-Hindustan has been involved in several brutal attacks targeting innocent Pakistani civilians. The group’s actions have been widely condemned by the public and state institutions alike.
Authorities have reiterated their resolve to bring all terrorists and their facilitators to justice. “Those responsible for aiding or abetting such acts of violence will be made an example of,” the sources added.
The successful action is part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to maintain peace and stability, and to dismantle networks involved in subversive activities against the state.
